FLFR RAMBLERS
FLFR Ramblers are a nature based sauntering group that focuses on learning about the environment through experiences and observations. Led by FLFR'S Zac Napier, naturalist, through this program you will understand what makes Blount County awesome by nature.
In the above photo Zac is holding an owl pellet: Owls are unable to digest the fur and bone of their prey, which they usually swallow whole. The indigestible parts are regurgitated (coughed up through the beak) in the form of an owl pellet. After feeding, producing a pellet takes 6 hours or more.
