Weekly on WEDNESDAYS from 3:30-5 PM
Note the NEW DAY & TIME in 2026

Since 2018, FLFR volunteers have started, transplanted and rooted native species plant seedlings at the Nursery.
Native species plants are perfect for pollinator gardens. They also prevent erosion, attract butterflies and other beneficial insects as well as many kinds of birds.

215 Taylor Ford Rd, Blountsville

_____________

Volunteers start, transplant, or root Native Plant seedlings while sharing plant knowledge.

Volunteers, you are welcome to come for any time you can spare on Wednesday afternoons, 3:30-5 PM, year round except December and January.

This is an outdoor activity.

For questions, please email: [email protected].

The seedlings are then transplanted to different locations along the river to prevent erosion, attract butterflies and other beneficial insects, birds, etc. and to preserve our watershed.
